CalFina was founded by Rajesh Adoni after several career transformations. His professional journey began (1997) as a young Design Engineer working for a semi-conductor company in the Silicon Valley, researching and designing custom silicon chips for networking, storage and communication technology platforms. When life presented its challenges, it also presented Rajesh with an opportunity to work for City of San Jose where he managed and procured grants for parks and community buildings while also managing a $750 million capital budget from 2007-2009. He then went to become the San Jose Fire Department’s Data Analytics Manager working on the department’s fire response strategies and performance. His consultative career began in early 2013 working for a small consulting company in Sacramento catering to Government Solutions. Frustrated by a culture of slave work and ungrateful managers, Rajesh resurrected CalFina (initially established in 2006) as a platform to provide consultative solutions in the Healthcare space while also providing dignity to the people who work.
